About us

Afro India Rolling Mills (Pty) Ltd is a Secondary Aluminium Smelting Plant

The company is 80% black, female owned, with a level 1 B-BBEE status. It was established by its directors, to compensate for the constraints in the export of scrap metals (their core business), as well as a growing demand for the manufacture of semi-finished products within South Africa. Since commissioning the foundry in December 2021, we have employed 200 staff who are undergoing training and skills transfer from Indian nationals, working under ICT visas in this specialised field.
